Mrs. Fields Chocolate Chip Cookies

Ingredients:
1 lb. softened butter
2 cups brown sugar
1 1/2 cups white sugar
2 Tbs. vanilla
3 large eggs, beaten 3-4 minutes
6 cups flour
1 1/2 tsp. salt
1 1/2 tsp. soda
4 cups chocolate chips
2 cups chopped nuts

Preparation:
Cream together butter, sugars, vanilla and eggs. Add flour, salt and soda. Mix well. Add chocolate chips and nuts. Drop by small ice cream scoops on wax paper lined cookie sheets. Bake at 350° for 8-10 minutes. Cool 5 minutes before removing from cookie sheets. Use fresh wax paper each time. Do not cool on wire racks; cool cookies on brown shopping bags.
