Tuna with Wasabi Lime Butter Sauce

Ingredients:
    Tuna Steaks
Four 1-inch thick tuna steaks
Vegetable oil for brushing tuna
1 1/2 tsp. crushed black peppercorns
1 Tbs. minced fresh dill
    Sauce
5 green onions, sliced thin (about 1/3 cup)
1 tsp. minced fresh coriander
1 1/2 Tbs. fresh lime juice
3 Tbs. soy sauce
3 Tbs. wasabi paste
2 sticks cold, unsalted butter, cut in pieces

Preparation:
Prepare BBQ grill or skillet.  Arrange tuna steaks in one layer in a shallow dish and lightly brush both sides with oil.  Spread peppercorns and dill evenly on both sides of tuna and marinate 20 minutes.  Make sauce while tuna marinates.

In a heavy saucepan combine green onions, coriander, lime juice, soy sauce, and wasabi paste.  Bring close to a boil.  Reduce heat to low and whisk in butter, 1 piece at a time.  Do not allow sauce to boil.  Sauce should not get hot enough to separate ingredients.

Grill tuna 2 minutes on each side for medium rare.

Serving Suggestion:
Serve Tuna napped with a tablespoon of wasabi lime butter sauce.
