Caesar Salad

Ingredients:
3 stalks of Romaine lettuce
1/2 cup grated Parmesan
1/2 cup garlic croutons
1/4 cup Girard’s Caesar Dressing (Triangle shaped bottle)
2 oz. canned anchovies, chopped (optional)

Preparation:
Trim lettuce of all wilted leaves and tough center spine of leaves. Chop lettuce, wash and dry in salad spinner. Place lettuce in bowl. Sprinkle with parmesan cheese, croutons and anchovies. Add salad dressing a tablespoon at a time and toss well. Only use enough dressing to lightly coat lettuce leaves.

Serving Suggestion:
Grate some fresh parmesan cheese on top of salad just before serving.

Variation:
Of course you can prepare a fresh Caesar dressing, however, for simplicity, the Girard’s Caesar Dressing makes a wonderful salad.  Add some chopped avocado for a nice change.
