Caramel Sauce (Condensed Milk)

Ingredients:
1 can Borden’s sweetened condensed milk

Preparation:
Place unopened can of sweetened condensed milk in a saucepan. Add water to nearly cover can. Simmer for at least 8 hours. Cool before opening can.

Serving Suggestion:
Pour caramel over angel food cake and top with whipped cream.

History:
This recipe comes from the makers of Borden’s condensed milk.
