Ingredients:
1 lb. ground beef or ground turkey
1 medium onion, chopped
1 package taco seasoning
1 can kidney or garbanzo beans, drained
1 head iceberg lettuce, washed and shredded
2 to 4 tomatoes, chopped
8 oz. cheddar cheese, grated
2 avocados, peeled and cut into 1/2 inch cubes
1 bag tortilla chips, crumbled
1/4 to 1/2 cup Italian Salad Dressing
Salsa or taco sauce
Preparation:
Brown ground meat in a skillet along with the chopped onion. Drain the beef and add the taco seasoning and beans. Mix well. Let cool.
Combine together the lettuce, tomatoes, cheese, avocados, and ground meat. Add chips and salad dressing then toss well. Serve immediately or the chips will become mushy.
