Sausage and Bean Soup

Ingredients:
1 ring Polish sausage, cut into 1/2 inch slices
2 pork hocks
1 slab salt port (cut into cubes)
1 large pkg. (16 oz.) white beans (soaked overnight in water)
1 leek, chopped
3 onions, chopped
3 large cloves garlic, minced
1 stalk celery, sliced
1 bunch carrots, peeled and sliced
6-8 Roma tomatoes, chopped
1 head cabbage, chopped
Thyme, salt and pepper

Preparation:
Put all ingredients except cabbage in large pot and fill with water. Simmer all day, skimming at first. Add cabbage the last hour.
