Texas Barbeque Sauce

Ingredients:
1 cup ketchup
1/3 cup cider vinegar
2/3 cup brown sugar
1/2 cup minced onion
2 T. Worcestershire Sauce
2 T. liquid smoke
1 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. pepper
1 tsp. smoked paprika
1/2 Tbs. chopped chipotle pepper in adobe sauce

Preparation:
Combine all ingredients in small saucepan. Simmer over low heat for a couple of hours until sauce thickens and onions are soft.

Cooking Suggestions:
Great on ribs, chicken, and hamburgers. Brush sauce on meats periodically while cooking. Best on meats cooked on the barbeque but may also be used on foods baked in the oven.  A great addition to pulled pork for BBQ Pulled Pork Sandwiches.
