Apple Pie


Ingredients:
Crust for two crust pie
1 can sliced pie apples
1/4 cup brown sugar (packed)
1/2 cup granulated sugar
2 Tbs. all purpose flour
1/4 tsp. salt
3/4 tsp. cinnamon
1/4 tsp. nutmeg
2 Tbs. butter

Preparation:
Prepare pie crust recipe for two crusts. Roll out half the dough then line pie plate with the crust. Roll out second crust and set aside. Combine apples, sugars, flour, salt, and spices in medium bowl. Mix well and pour into unbaked pie crust. Dot apple filling with butter. Top with second crust, seal and flute edges. Cut several steam vents in top of pie.

Serving Suggestion:
Great warm with vanilla ice cream.
