Baked Asparagus

Ingredients:
1 lb. fresh asparagus
2 small cloves garlic, minced
     (or 1 tsp. granulated garlic)
Salt and pepper to taste
3 Tbs. olive oil
4 lemon wedges (optional)

Preparation:
Preheat oven to 400˚. Wash and drain asparagus. Cut off and discard tough ends. Peel ends if asparagus is large.

Place asparagus tightly together in baking pan or Pyrex baking dish. Sprinkle with garlic, salt and pepper. Drizzle oil over asparagus. Bake uncovered until asparagus is firm to the bite, 15 to 20 minutes depending on thickness.

Serving Suggestion:
Serve with lemon wedges.
