Green Beans

Ingredients:
1 lb. raw green beans
1/4 cup butter, melted
Salt and pepper

Preparation:
Trim and wash green beans. Leave whole or cut on the diagonal into 1/2 inch pieces.

Boil pot of water and add a couple of tablespoons of salt. Put green beans into boiling water. Cook for 7 minutes. Remove from heat, drain and rinse with cold water. Place into skillet. Add butter. Sprinkle with salt and pepper. Sauté just before serving.

History:
Mom, Odile and I went to the Cordon Bleu in Paris to attend a class. Green beans were one of the recipes demonstrated.
