1 lb. green lentils (French)
2 yellow onions, quartered
2 bay leaves
4 cans (14 oz.) chicken broth
Preparation:
Soak lentils 1 hour in water. Drain. Place lentils in a pan and add broth, onions and bay leaves. Simmer until tender.
Delicious served with BBQ salmon.
