Meringue

Ingredients:
3 egg whites
1 Tbs. fresh lemon juice
6 Tbs. sugar

Preparation:
Beat egg whites and lemon juice to soft peaks. Add sugar and beat to stiff peaks. Spread on pie filling and secure to edges of crust. Bake at 350˚ until tops of peaks brown.

History:
This is another ancient recipe from my High School Home Economics class.
