Ingredients:
1 baked pie crust
1 quart fresh hulled strawberries
Glaze
1 cup fresh hulled strawberries
1/2 cup sugar
1 1/2 Tbs. corn starch
Preparation:
Place hulled strawberries in baked pie crust arranging in two layers decoratively. For the glaze, combine corn starch and sugar. Purée cup of strawberries and place in saucepan. Heat over medium heat and add sugar stirring constantly until glaze thickens. Brush glaze on top of strawberries being sure to cover all berries.
Serving Suggestion:
Chill pie well then serve cold with fresh whipped cream.
