Tostados

Ingredients:
1 dozen corn tortillas
V egetable oil
1 lb. ground sirloin
2-3 ripe tomatoes, chopped
1 medium onion, chopped
8 oz. grated cheddar cheese
1/2 head shredded ice berg lettuce
1 16-oz. can refried beans
Garlic salt
1 pkg. taco seasoning
Taco sauce

Preparation:
Cook ground sirloin with taco seasoning. Place refried beans in pan. Add garlic salt to taste. Heat beans until bubbly. Place tomatoes, onion, cheese and lettuce in separate bowls.

In a large skillet, place a couple tablespoons oil and heat until hot. Fry tortillas on both sides until crisp. Drain on paper towels.

Assemble tostados by placing tortilla on plate. Spread with beans, then meat, onion, tomatoes, cheese and lettuce.

Serving Suggestion:
Tostados go well with a cold beer. Enjoy.
