4 bananas
1/4 cup butter
1/4 cup brown sugar
1/4 cup orange juice
1/4 tsp. cinnamon
1/4 cup brandy
Vanilla ice cream
Preparation:
Peel and slice bananas in half then in half lengthwise. In a skillet, melt butter. Add sugar, orange juice and cinnamon. Cook one minute on medium heat. Add bananas. In microwave, heat brandy. Pour brandy over bananas and ignite. Be sure the skillet has plenty of space above the pan before flaming.
Serving Suggestion:
Place ice cream in bowls and spoon bananas over ice cream.
Variation:
Bananas can be served in warm crepes too.
