Meatballs and Rice

Ingredients:
1 lb. ground sirloin
1/4 lb. sausage
1 small onion, minced
1 cup bread cubes
1 clove garlic, minced
2 eggs, well beaten
1 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. pepper
Flour
2 cans Cream of Mushroom soup
4 cups cooked white rice

Preparation:
Combine meats, onion, bread, garlic, eggs, salt and pepper. Form into small balls and roll in flour. Fry meatballs in non-stick skillet until browned on all sides. Add cream of mushroom soup to pan and stir. Reduce heat and simmer for 30 minutes.

Serving Suggestion:
I like the meatballs and gravy spooned over the cooked rice, however, it can also be served separately on the plate.

History:
Meatballs and rice were one of our favorite meals when Rick and Chris were young.
