Stuffed Bell Peppers

Ingredients:
1 lb. ground sirloin or turkey
1 egg
1 small onion, minced
1 slice bread, shredded or cooked white rice
4 large green or red bell peppers
1 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. pepper
2 8-oz. cans tomato sauce

Preparation:
Cut peppers in half and remove stem, ribs and seeds. Place peppers in Pyrex dish and microwave for a couple minutes to soften peppers.

Combine sirloin or turkey, egg, onion, bread, salt and pepper. Mix well and stuff peppers. Pour tomato sauce over peppers and place in 350˚ oven. Bake for 1 to 1 1/2 hours.
